Destination Asia Myanmar

Destination Asia Myanmar

Destination Asia is proud to be the first destination management company to specialize in Indochina operations and the first Asia based travel company owned by its employees. Since establishment in 1996, Destination Asia has developed a network spanning 11 countries.

Destination Asia opened their first office in Burma in 2002 and has watched the county develop alongside their own expansion, with offices now in Rangoon, Bagan, Mandalay and Inle Lake. Annette Graf leads the team in Rangoon and has been managing the team since 2012, following five years as resident manager of Destination Asia Cambodia’s Meeting and Incentive team. Large parts of Burma remain a real challenge to travel across, especially in areas along its borders that offer an alternative way to enter the country. Using these border crossings offers an experience like never before – adding a real element of adventure. Other possible ways to explore the outer lying areas of Burma include a luxurious cruise or trekking in the Northern Shan State, Mrauk U, Mon & Kayin State. Few travelers realize Burma has some of the most deserted and pristine beaches in Asia.
