National Sales Manager, Asia

About You

We are looking to add a new team member to help build even stronger support within the travel trade community. We believe that travel is all about stories; if you want to work at DA, you must be able to tell a story.

What You’ll Do

  • Find new travel companies to work with Destination Asia for their FIT & group business

  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing partners

  • Prepare monthly reports on market trends and sales activities

  • Host webinars and virtual product trainings

  • Give presentations and conduct sales meetings throughout the US & Canada

  • Escort business development trips (FAMs) to Asia

  • Organize small events throughout the year

  • Attend trade shows

  • Assist Destination Asia staff with logistics of sales visits when they visit (scheduling meetings, booking air/hotel, etc.)

  • Help maintain and grow our database

What You’ll Need

  • Must be a fast learner

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Travel experience in/around Asia preferred

  • Experience in the travel industry, preferably in a supplier sales role

  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential

  • Exceptional communication and writing skills

  • MUST BE PASSIONATE ABOUT TRAVEL
